Playoffs

I said I would tell you who I would like to win the baseball playoffs.  It is a few days later I think, but I will tell you anyway.  I liked the Twins, but they lost to that really Bad Team.  I liked that the Boston team lost today.  They are almost as Bad.  I don’t really know about the PHI-COL series, probably the Rockies.  I do think they should have played in the snow yesterday.  What’s wrong with playing in the snow?  I like playing in the snow (except the part about losing the ball in the snow).matt-holliday-blows-the-game

The best one was the Dodgers-Cardinals.  I liked the 2nd game.  We were just getting ready to go for a walk.  “Just wait until the end of this inning…”   We were excited anyway.  Then we were jumping up and down!  It was fun.  Turns out it all started with Matt Holliday not catching the ball.  When I was playing ball, sometimes I didn’t catch it.  That’s okay.  But he doesn’t always try.  I saw that when he was with the A’s.  He sometimes looked like he didn’t care about getting to the ball.  Always go for the ball.  Always.  I did.  Every time.  And I never got hit in the “stomach” when I missed the ball.

The best World Series would be Dodgers-Twins.  But I think that can’t be.  So I guess it has to be Dodgers-Angels.  The Angels are not a Good Team, but they are not Bad either.

Last day

It is the last day of the season (except for game 163 on Tuesday in MN).  A sad day.  It is cold here today and a little damp, just right for ball playing.  I do not know why there is a last day.  Why not play all the time?  How come they stop?  I would not stop.

I’ll let you know who I want to win in the playoffs after Tuesday’s game.  In that game I would like the MN team to win.

Here is a nice article about Black Dogs:   http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2009/09/18/notes091809.DTL.  It tells about how people think about black dogs, like what happened when our people tried to find homes for us after we found them.  That’s partly why they kept us instead.  We are glad they did.
